Why is an empty leg so affordable?
A chauffeur takes a guest from Frankfurt to Paris, for example. Afterwards the vehicle has to return, with or without a guest. It is exactly this return trip that we offer you.
Most of the cost of the route is already covered. That is why you pay only a fraction of the regular price, without any compromise on vehicle, chauffeur or service.

What is an empty leg?
After a job, our vehicles often return without a guest, for example driving back to Frankfurt after a transfer from Frankfurt to Paris. We offer you these return trips as empty legs at a fixed price, well below the regular price.
Is the service the same as with a regular booking?
Yes. You travel with a professional chauffeur in a well-maintained premium vehicle of the booked category. Discretion, punctuality and service are identical to every other ComfortCars ride.
What happens if our planning changes?
Empty legs result from our job planning. If this changes, an empty leg may be cancelled at short notice. In that case, we will inform you immediately by e-mail and refund the full amount. Where possible, we will also offer you a replacement ride at the same fixed price.
Why is there a time window for pickup?
The empty leg depends on a preceding job. Within the stated time window, you choose your pickup time in 15-minute steps. This time is then binding.
Can I change the start or destination?
The route is fixed. Small deviations within the same city are often possible by arrangement. For other routes, please use our regular booking.
How short-notice can I book?
Empty legs can be booked online up to 3 hours before pickup. New trips are often added only a few days in advance, which is why a route alert is worthwhile.
Can I bring luggage or a child seat?
A normal amount of luggage is included in the fixed price. We are happy to provide a child seat: simply call or write to us after booking and we will arrange it for your trip.
How do I pay?
You pay online when booking via a secure payment link. All prices include 19% VAT. For corporate clients, we will issue an invoice on request.
