Why is an empty leg so affordable?
A chauffeur takes a guest from, say, Frankfurt to Paris. Afterwards, the vehicle has to return, with or without a passenger. It is exactly this return journey that we offer you.
Most of the cost of the route is already covered. That's why you pay only a fraction of the regular price, with no compromise on vehicle, chauffeur or service.

- Fixed route from start to finish, as specified.
- Pick-up at your chosen time within the time window.
- Fixed price for up to 3 guests, in a van for up to 7 guests, including luggage at the usual rate.
- All prices include 19% % VAT.
- Payment at booking.
- Bookable up to 3 hours before the pickup.
- Cancellation: Free up to 24 hours before the pickup window begins; you will receive a full refund. After that, no refund is possible because the ride is reserved for you from that point onwards. If you do not show up within 15 minutes of the selected pickup time, the ride is considered taken. Empty legs This is due to our scheduling plans. If these change, a short trip may also be cancelled at short notice. In that case, we will inform you immediately by email and refund you the full amount. If possible, we will offer you an alternative ride at the same fixed price.

What is an empty leg?
After a job, our vehicles often return without a passenger – for example, after a transfer from Frankfurt to Paris, the journey back to Frankfurt. We offer you these return journeys as empty legs at a fixed price, well below the regular fare.
Is the service the same as with a normal booking?
Yes. You travel with a professional chauffeur in a well-kept premium vehicle of the category booked. Discretion, punctuality and service are identical to any other ComfortCars journey.
What happens if our schedule changes?
Empty legs arise from our operational planning. If this changes, an empty leg may be cancelled at short notice. In that case, we will inform you immediately by email and refund the full amount. Where possible, we will also offer you an alternative journey at the same fixed price.
Why is there a time window for the pick-up?
The empty leg depends on a previous job. Within the stated time window, you choose your pick-up time in 15-minute steps. This time is then binding.
Can I change the starting point or destination?
The route is fixed. Small deviations within the same city are often possible by arrangement. For other routes, please use our regular booking.
How short-notice can I book?
Empty legs can be booked online up to 3 hours before pick-up. New journeys are often added only a few days in advance, so the preferred-route alert is well worth it.
Can I bring luggage or a child seat?
Luggage in the usual amount is included in the fixed price. We are happy to provide a child seat: just give us a quick call or write to us after booking and we will arrange it for your journey.
How do I pay?
You pay online when booking via a secure payment link. All prices include 19 % VAT. For corporate clients, we issue an invoice on request.
